What Our Guests Are Saying

“Abundantly obvious the employees truly care about the guests.”

Reviewed January 20, 2015

Last night we checked into the Historic Benbow Inn and experienced the type of customer service that you rarely find anymore. I called and made our reservation and spoke with Michael. He advised me that for that one night the restaurant would be closed for a private employee appreciation party. He then invited us to join them for their dinner buffet! Due to the six-hour drive, would miss the time of the dinner but thanked him for the kind offer. This was Michael's response: "Oh, that's not a problem! I can just have two plates made up and waiting for you when you arrive! Don't worry about the time and drive safe!" When we arrived for check in, the person at the front desk l couldn't have been nicer. She then showed us that our dinners were waiting and we could take them to our room if we wished. The room (103) was a beautiful and very large king located on the lower terrace. The bed was super comfy, the room quiet and spacious. Large screen TV, and free wi-fi. Upon checkout the respectful service continued with John. We just feel so fortunate to have found such a beautiful and special hotel with employees who genuinely provide caring service. It is abundantly obvious the employees truly care about the guests. We'll most definitely return - hopefully very soon.
